Mr. Arif-Uz-Zaman currently leads the technology initiatives for Transcom Limited, overseeing all 14 business units from a corporate level. His objective is to achieve organizational goals by driving innovation, spearheading digital transformation, and maximizing organizational value.

He is dedicated to developing a clear Technology Roadmap aligned with business strategy, identifying technical opportunities that support business growth. He fosters a culture of innovation within the group by staying abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. Additionally, he aims to establish data analytics frameworks and implement robust data governance practices that provide actionable insights and data-driven decision-making capabilities to each business unit. He is passionate about building a skilled and motivated technology team and ensuring the retention of top talent through training opportunities, continuous learning, and career development paths.
With a stellar academic track record, Mr. Zaman started his career in 2004 and worked with various technology development companies to build applications for Honeywell, Satcom Direct, Verizon, and iBasis Inc. He developed cross-platform solutions for web and mobile devices, demonstrating excellent problem- solving skills and a passionate commitment to contributing to the open-source community.

He leads enterprise product development by managing a team of over 100 tech professionals, successfully delivering enterprise solutions to the world’s No. 1 NGO, BRAC, for Bangladesh and 12 international countries through the central automation of 4500 branch offices. As the SBU head at BRAC IT, he managed an annual IT departmental budget of $2.5 million. He has resided and worked in Asia and Africa, implementing enterprise solutions designed and developed under his leadership.

Mr. Zaman holds a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), where he was awarded a merit scholarship. He also earned Advanced Certifications for Management Professionals from IBA, Dhaka University, and is a certified Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner.
