Balaji has around 18 years of experience in leading digital transformation for organizations within healthcare, finance, and telecommunications verticals. Balaji uses his digital leadership, Lean principles, and collaborative approach to deliver business growth outcomes.

In his current role as regional CIO, he leads the digital transformation for GE Healthcare in ASEAN, Korea and ANZ regions accounting for more than 850Mn in Revenue. He manages the digital priorities to align to regional growth strategies and improve end user experience with innovation in technology and automation. His focus areas are to make the enterprise strategy work for target users and use lean principles to align processes, people and systems.

Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Balaji managed credit underwriting systems as Technical program manager for GE Capital – a leading lending and leasing organization with coverage in Europe and APAC generating more than USD 3bn in annual revenues.

He has extensive experience in building green field business support system implementations for leading telecommunication providers in the UK and New Zealand for managing customer interactions.

Balaji holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from University of Madras and a Master of Science Degree (Data science) from Liverpool John Moores University.”
