Miao Song joined GLP on 22 June 2021 as Global Chief Information Officer and Executive Committee member.

Prior to GLP, Miao was the Global Chief Information Officer of Mars Petcare. Prior to MARS , she worked in Johnson& Johnson as VP/CIO. She has over 23 years of global experience in various industry, with broad exposure to the Oil/ Energy/Natural Resources as well as Consumer Goods and Health Care business, having worked for Royal Dutch Shell for 14 years, Nestle for 5 years. She has extensive IT Management experience, having headed all IT disciplines in both global and regional capacity.

Miao has been living and working in China, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Singapore and Belgium, etc. She is a strong sponsor and supporter of Diversity and Inclusiveness, she headed the Netherlands D&I council, also led IT Women Leadership Institution in Johnson & Johnson and sponsored Mars Digital D&I initiative.

Over the course of her past tenure, she received many awards such as the CIO of the Year by IDG, Leadership Excellent, Women Leader, CIO of the Year Silicon Valley, Global CIO 100, and more, as a form of recognition for her work. As a member of our senior management team, she has a critical role propel our company’s vision forward through technology and digital transformation.
