Sunil is currently the CFO of Asia Pacific & Emerging Markets for Thomson Reuters based in Singapore. He leads the regional finance functions including FP&A, decision support, capital allocation and operational planning. He also supports the regional leadership team with business strategy, M&A, organic growth investments and strategic partnerships. He previously spent 3 years in the sales organization, leading the transformation to an integrated, enterprise sales approach with strong focus on strategic account management and customer segmentation. Prior to that, he was the CFO for Asia region.
Sunil joined Thomson Reuters back in 2008. Before moving to Singapore in 2013, he held various Finance and Strategy roles in the US, UK and Switzerland. He began his career in India as an entrepreneur and subsequently worked as a consultant for Fortune 100 companies in the Insurance and Healthcare sectors.
Sunil holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Madras University in Chennai, and received his MBA with Honors from Emory University in Atlanta.
