James Lee is a professional accountant in business with decades of experience, including strategic leadership, business partnership, innovation and transformation, financial management, corporate reporting, audit and assurance, corporate governance, risk management, project management, asset management, corporate secretarial, stakeholder engagement and relationship.

His proven track record of success, passion for people development, ‘service above self’ in serving, and unbridled desire to seek for excellence delivered superior and memorable outcomes to the business and community he served.

Currently he is the Director of Finance at Sofitel Singapore City Centre.

James has a wealth of experience in start-up with full finance, IT and procurement system and framework at Four Seasons Singapore, The Fullerton Singapore, The South Beach and The Marriott Chongqing. He was the Director of Finance at The Regent Singapore and The Raffles Hotel, primarily focused on sustainable performance in profit and growth, organizational renewal and people development.

To the profession, he served as Council member to ACCA global, Practice Monitoring sub-committee with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Charter President of Hospitality Finance and Technology Professional Asia Chapter, and external examiner to Ngee Ann Polytechnic Diploma in Accountancy.

To the community, he serves as community mediator with the Ministry of Law, honorary treasurer of the Foundation of Rotary Clubs Singapore Limited, organising chairman of ‘Sayang Cradle’ (a project to support an orphanage in Cambodia) and organising chairman of Run For Hope (a charity run to raise fund for cancer research).
